Our journey started after we were previously part of another Audi crew. Following a disagreement, Leigh was removed from the group. Dirk chose to follow, and together they decided to create a crew of their own. The name Audi Outcasts was chosen as a tongue-in-cheek reference to that experience.
Danie and William were also part of the original admin team, but later decided to focus on their personal lives. This left Leigh and Dirk to continue running and growing the group.
The original plan was to keep the group small and focused on genuine Audi fans. From the beginning, the priority was a family-orientated approach that welcomed members from all walks of life. Every member's car matters to us, regardless of its model, value or modifications — as long as it is an Audi.
That inclusive approach helped Audi Outcasts grow far beyond what we expected. By 1 November 2025, the crew had grown to more than 430 members. As the group expanded, Damian joined the admin team to assist with the day-to-day running of the community.
